Enjoy our take on the viral strawberry matcha. Itโ€™s not just a pretty drink - it's packed with antioxidants and provides a clean, sustained energy boost without the dreaded afternoon crash. Matcha is an ideal morning drink because itโ€™s rich in caffeine to give you that energy lift, but it also contains amino acids like L-theanine, which promote relaxation and focus. This balance makes it an amazing alternative to coffee, offering the perfect way to start your day feeling both energised and calm.


Ingredients

6 strawberries, halved
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 tablespoon Organic Matcha Powder

Method

  1. In a small skillet, heat strawberries, honey and lemon juice over medium heat. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes until the strawberries soften and release their juices. If you prefer some texture, leave the strawberry mixture as is with small chunks. For a smoother option, blend the mixture until silky and smooth. Set aside in the refrigerator to cool.
  2. In a small bowl, add our Organic Matcha Powder and 4 tablespoons of boiling water. Using our Bamboo Matcha Whisk, whisk vigorously until all lumps are smooth and the matcha is blended well.
  3. Pour strawberry mixture into a large glass. Add a handful of ice cubes and pour over coconut milk. Pour matcha over the milk and enjoy!
