Simple snacks to keep you energised during a cleanse

Did you know you can still snack while cleansing? Cleansing is all about nourishing your body, not depriving it—discover delicious, energising snacks that support your journey and keep you feeling vibrant every step of the way.

Cleansing is about nourishing your body, not depriving it. While a cleanse helps reset your system and improve digestion, that doesn’t mean you have to go hungry! Listening to your body is key and if you feel the need for a little extra nourishment, there are plenty of delicious, whole food based snacks that fit seamlessly into your cleanse. Here are some high protein, high fibre and easy to digest snack ideas to keep you energised throughout your journey.

Hydrating & nourishing drinks


Chia Hydration Drink

A simple yet powerful way to keep you feeling full throughout your cleanse.

Ingredients

500ml filtered water
1 tablespoon chia seeds

  1. Stir chia seeds into the water and let sit for 10-15 minutes until they form a gel-like consistency.
  2. Stir occasionally. Enjoy throughout the day for a hydrating energy boost!

Enlighten Tea

A calming and detoxifying herbal tea, available hot or iced. Packed with cleansing herbs, this tea supports digestion and overall well being during your cleanse.

Ingredients

Hot:
1 tsp Sol Cleanse Enlighten Tea
1 cup boiling water
A slice of lemon (optional)

Iced:
2 tsp Sol Cleanse Enlighten Tea
2 cups boiling water
Ice cubes
Lemon slices or fresh mint (optional)

Hot:

  1. Place 1 teaspoon of Sol Cleanse Enlighten Tea in a tea strainer or infuser.
  2. Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 5–7 minutes to allow the herbs to release their full benefits.
  3. Remove the strainer and enjoy as is, or add a slice of lemon for extra flavour.

Iced:

  1. Add 2 teaspoons of Sol Cleanse Enlighten Tea to a heatproof jug or teapot.
  2. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 7–10 minutes for a stronger infusion. Strain and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  3. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices, fresh mint, or a drizzle of honey if desired.

Homemade Almond Milk

Boost your protein intake with this creamy and satisfying drink.

Ingredients

1 cup almonds, soaked overnight and drained
3 cups filtered water
1 scoop Sol Cleanse Vanialla Embody Organic Protein
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 medjool date (optional, for a hint of sweetness)

  1. Blend almonds and filtered water together until smooth. Strain through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve.
  2. Pour the fresh almond milk back into the blender, along with protein powder, vanilla extract and medjool date.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to three days.

A soothing and nutrient-packed snack that’s easy to digest plus packed with plant based protein.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup homemade almond milk
1 scoop Sol Cleanse Embody Protein Powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Stir all ingredients together and let sit for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. For a smoother texture, blend before serving.
  2. Top with organic berries if desired.

Ingredients

250g frozen edamame beans
2 teaspoons Celtic salt
1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the edamame beans. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then drain.
  2. Toss with Celtic salt and chilli flakes. Enjoy warm or chilled.

Spicy Popcorn

A light, fibre-rich snack with a spicy kick.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon avocado oil
1/2 cup corn kernels
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Celtic salt

  1. Heat avocado oil over medium heat in a skillet. Add the corn kernels and stir to coat in oil. Cover with a lid and let them pop, shaking the pan occasionally.
  2. Once the popping slows, remove from heat and mix with cayenne pepper, paprika and salt. Store in an airtight container.
