This Dubai Chocolate Smoothie Bowl is a delicious take on the viral trend that’s been taking over social media – where warm protein infused chocolate meets a creamy pistachio matcha base. Made with Sol Cleanse Embody Vanilla and Cacao Protein Powders and Sol Cleanse Organic Matcha Powder, it provides clean plant-based protein and antioxidants to support energy and gut health. Naturally vegan, gluten-free and refined sugar-free, it’s perfect for an indulgent breakfast or a healthier dessert.


Ingredients

Pistachio Matcha layer

1 frozen banana
½ avocado
1 tablespoon Sol Cleanse Embody Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tablespoon pistachio butter
1 tablespoon organic maple syrup
1 teaspoon Sol Cleanse Organic Matcha Powder
½ cup coconut milk
Handful of ice
½ cup shredded coconut

Chocolate layer

2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
45g (8 squares) dark chocolate
1 tablespoon Sol Cleanse Embody Cacao Protein Powder
1 teaspoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon organic maple syrup
1 tablespoon pistachios, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Method

  1. In a high-speed blender add frozen banana, avocado, vanilla protein, pistachio butter, maple syrup, matcha powder, coconut milk and ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the shredded coconut with a spoon until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl and place it in the freezer while you prepare the chocolate layer.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together, stirring gently until smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and whisk in the cacao protein, cacao powder and maple syrup. Stir until fully combined – the mixture should be warm but not hot.
  6. Pour the warm chocolate mixture evenly over the chilled smoothie bowl, spreading it gently across the surface. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and flaky sea salt.
  7. Place the bowl back in the freezer for around 10 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened. Crack the chocolate topping with the back of a spoon and enjoy immediately.
